EarFun Targets Market Growth with Wave Pro X Headphones Debut at IFA 2026

At the IFA 2026 event in Berlin, the wireless audio brand EarFun has unveiled its latest flagship product, the Wave Pro X over-ear headphones. These headphones are designed with dual-driver audio technology, hybrid active noise cancellation, AI-enhanced processing, and an impressive battery life. The Wave Pro X employs EarFun’s DCAA acoustic architecture, featuring two dynamic drivers that are independently tuned alongside high-purity voice coils. According to the company, this configuration is crafted to deliver a broader soundstage while preserving detailed audio across diverse frequency spectra.

The headphones’ noise cancellation capabilities are powered by an eight-microphone array coupled with real-time processing. This Hybrid ANC system is engineered to adapt to the ambient environment and minimize external noise during audio playback. Battery longevity is a standout feature of the Wave Pro X, with EarFun claiming up to 90 hours of playback, or 50 hours with noise cancellation activated. Additionally, a quick 15-minute charge can yield up to 10 more hours of listening time.

Ergonomics and connectivity are also prioritized in the design, as the headphones feature a foldable structure with memory-foam earcups for prolonged comfort. Connectivity options include Bluetooth multipoint, which allows seamless switching between devices, and a 3.5mm wired connection with a hi-res bypass option. EarFun CEO White Wang emphasized that the development of the Wave Pro X focused on enhancing sound quality, noise cancellation, comfort, connectivity, and battery performance, rather than zeroing in on just one aspect.

In addition to the Wave Pro X, EarFun also gave a sneak peek at its forthcoming Air Pro 5 true wireless earbuds. The company highlighted that these earbuds will come with enhanced sound tuning, noise cancellation, and adaptive processing. For the ANC modeling, tuning, and validation, EarFun collaborated with engineers from Bose Corporation’s Audio Technology division. More details regarding the Air Pro 5’s specifications and release date are expected to follow soon.

The EarFun Wave Pro X headphones are currently available for purchase worldwide through EarFun’s official website and Amazon, priced at €149.99, $129.99, and £119.99.
